George LaMonte's original decorated safety papers were designed for the financial and banking industry where security from forgery, accuracy in print and speed of handling are requirements for success. DesignSecure products use a combination of the original security features developed in 1871 and modern sophisticated security innovations to provide advanced document protection.

Our unique technology provides cut and paste protection through perfect front to back registration. Chemical security is provided through a pattern that "disappears" with application of ink eradicators or bleach, permanently altering the appearance of the document. These features, developed over 130 years ago, are still effective deterrents to forgery.

Newly incorporated features include additional chemical protection against alteration by polar and non-polar solvents. Attempts at chemical alteration using these materials will result in a readily apparent stain or starburst. In addition, these products feature invisible fluorescent fibers, which become apparent when viewed under ultraviolet light. These fibers provide true document authentication as well as covert protection against high resolution color copiers and digital scanners.

STANDARD AND CUSTOM PATTERNS
The DesignSecure family of products includes seven standard colors: Blue, Tan, True Blue, Green, Yellow, Pink, and Slate; and four standard patterns: Basketweave, Straight Line, Wavy Line and Locking "L". Patterns and colors can be customized as needed to suit specific end use applications. DesignSecure products can also incorporate custom patterns using a company's symbol or logotype to add prestige and increased security to documents.

DesignSecure products are also available with the optional TonerSecure feature for protection against laser printed image removal.
